I will teach some fun and engaging lessons for my wonderful smarties this year. I've going to start a handbell choir with my smarties. By implementing pitched instruments, I will be able to connect content to real life experiences. They will not only learn about rhythms, pitch, melody, ect.., but they will perform it with the hand bells. The good thing about the hand bells is that it doest'n take a lot practice to sound good. Hand bells are an excellent instrument to have in general music classes.
